My computer goes to standby every morning at 9:00am give or take a few minutes. The only way it will wake up is to unplug the power source. Keyboard, button on the front of the computer, nothing will wake it up. It does not happen any other time of the day. Everyone tells me it is a virsus but no virsus software is aware of it or can detect it. How in the world do I get rid of it? <_<

Check your power settings. go to start->control panel then click power options. Make sure system standby is set to never. If that doesnt work, then let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
