Hi,

I'm writing about an eMachines T3882 desktop, 80gb hard drive, 256 mb ram (yes, I know I need to add RAM), Windows XP, SP2 os.

About 2 months ago, IE stopped working. I could log on with AOL and surf, but IE would give me an unable to connect page. Had a techie friend take a look, and he couldn't figure out why, so he downloaded FireFox and that seemed to be fine. Well, over the weekend, now Firefox just brings up a blank page. I uninstalled, then reinstalled the new 3.0 version of Firefox, and it still isn't working.

AOL, however is just fine - albeit slow as molasses (the RAM issue).

Any suggestions?
