I'm concidering getting certified in vista. Just want more feed back from those who understand what ms certifications are worth. Maybe give an alternative to vista path. All comments welcomed :)

any ANY certification is only worth what it's worth to a future employer...some employers put A LOT of weight on a certification....some put more weight on actual experience and skill.....in the long run it doesn't take much actual knowledge to pass MOST of the cert tests out there... i know quite a few people who've got A+ certs who couldn't change the RAM in a PC to save their life but they studied the course prep and passed the test.....

would you prefer a brain surgeon that's "certified" in brain surgery or one that's got loads of experience and technical skills?
