Since last night i am having major problems with my mouse and keyboard, they are both wireless, i am using windows vista. suddenly last night the mouse and keyboard stopped working and when i finally got it working again i keep getting a message saying found new hardware and windows need to install drivers for them, but all the latest drivers are installed. i thought it was maybe a problem with the receiver for the keyboard and mouse but then i had a wired usb mouse and when i plugged that in i got the same message about needing to install drivers, and not only that but i have 8 usb ports and only one is working with the wireless keyboard and mouse and sometimes it does not work at all. this is a major problem, someone please help, dell wants 40 dollars just to answer my call and i can not afford that , i connected other usb devices, like my ipod and external hard drive and i have no problems, it seems the problem is only with the mice and the wireless keyboard. and one error message i get is pnpdriver not found.

have you tried rebooting into safe mode? hit the f8 key as you boot to see if you can get a menu..... if you can get into safe mode and it does work you can try uninstalling the driver and reboot to see if they redetect and reinstall the software....

Beyond that I don't have any ideas....
