http://www.geekstogo...=winmovieplugin

I'm having the same problem as the guy in the above link, with some additional quirks.

Symptoms:

This icon was the first sign of trouble (named "Winmovieplugin" and looks just like the Windows Movie Maker icon), it placed itself on my desktop and other places (Start program list, My documents, Favorites)

When I try to open them I get these 2 consecutive windows in italian (no idea what they say)
they have www.master69.biz headings and "si" or "no" options, I always click "no"

I'm also getting random italian p**n sites poping up, quite unpleasant.
A casino popup: http://www.sgrunt.biz/closer/ ;italian too.

I've got a "Miracle Search" problem.

My browzer (EI) homepage keeps switching back to a [bleep] page, also italian. (If it would help, I can suply the page it keeps setting back to, but I'll keep it out for now as it qualifies as 'sexualy orientated material')

_____________________________________________

I first ran Spybot, but it wasn't much help at all.
So I looked for help in already exsisting threads here.
I downloaded CCleaner and Ad-Aware. Ran both of them. Rebooted. And the icons were gone. I set my webbrowzer startup page to what I wanted it to be, and rebooted to see if it would switch back, it didn't. All seemed cool.

But now (an hour or so later) it's all back. (possibly not the Miracle Search problem though)

Before I ran CCleaner and Ad-Aware, the icons first mentioned above had "C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch\BELGIUM_NM.exe" as targets.

now after running CCleaner and Ad-Aware, their target is is "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\CONFLICT.4\AUTO_1746_N.exe"

Since running CCleaner and Ad-Aware didn't help, and I don't know enough not to (possibly) screw up the computer (which, of course isn't even mine), I'm asking you guys for help. THANK YOU!

If you still require help:
Download and run CWShredder from:
http://www.intermute...r_download.html
Use the Fix button.

Then upgrade Windows and IE to SP1 and post back with a new HijackThis log.
