Here is the log file from the Hijack This scan. I'm kind of hoping there is something bad in here that you all can help me fix! My computer is so s-l-o-w. I am a first-time user of this or any other forum, so if I do something stupid, let me know! Thanks for your help.

Hi Tamed, welcome! <_<

I don't see anything suspicious in your log. Are you getting a lot of pop-ups or any error messages?

Also, it would be a good idea to scan for viruses and trojans.

Dang! I was hoping there would be an easy fix, but I guess it's good to know that there is (probably) nothing major wrong with the machine. Thanks for taking a look.

I don't get a lot of pop ups and I do scan with Norton at least once a week. It's just that web pages load slowly and, in general, the old computer is not quite as speedy as it once was. Maybe I expect too much.

I see a little you can fix. Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BJCFD] C:\Program Files\BroadJump\Client Foundation\CFD.exe (Not Required)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot (RealOne Player Spyware)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime (QuickTime Tray Icon)
O4 - Global Startup: hp psc 1000 series.lnk = ? (Nothing To Load)
O4 - Global Startup: hpoddt01.exe.lnk = ? (Nothing To Load)
O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OSA.EXE (Big MS Resource Hog!)
O16 - DPF: {41F17733-B041-4099-A042-B518BB6A408C} - http://a1540.g.akama...meInstaller.exe

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log. <_<
