Safari is set as my primary web browser, but I can no longer connect to it. My problem may be two-fold as my firewall(ZoneAlarm) won't allow me to connect to either when turned on. I think I may have accidentally changed a setting for my cable modem, but I'm not sure what I did or how to undo it. Any helpful suggestions?

I'm on a Windows XP and I have cable-internet service.

Possible cause: Windows Security update (KB951748) conflicts with ZoneAlarm's Firewall. ZoneAlarm has a workaround listed on their forum.

Cable modems have to be accessed by the cable company for any changes to modem to be made.
