Problems connecting to wireless network

I am currently having issues connecting to my wireless network. When it does connect, it will only stay connected for 5 minutes or so. It my network connections there is a Gateway Connection that just appeared yesterday that I am connecting to. I am using Windows XP with a linksys wireless router.
