my windows 98 cant load, i can only open ms-dos mode

Can someone help me, my computer can only run on dos mode.

You definitely need to give us some information about your system and what kinds of indications you get when you try to boot.

When it boots into DOS type "win" without the quotes and hit the Enter key. What happens them?
