blue screen spyware/malware/trojan

i have that problem with my desktop screen that it changed blue and had a warning in the middle saying 'spyware found please install anti spyware and clean your computer', my mcafee found a trojan called ' FakeAlert-AG', it has since been deleted but the blue screen is still there,, i have no option for desktop when i right click on on the background and click properties,, i have ran avg antispyware and have found nothing but cookies,,
i think this file 'wmcodec_update.exe' contained the trojan and it has also been deleted,
i would apprecite help with this problem
