Sorry, I originally posted this in the wrong forum.

I returned to my computer after lunch today and there was some malware that came out of nowhere calling itself "Xp Antivirus" and claiming that I had some 600 viruses that needed attention. I knew that it was obviously fake so I researched and downloaded from superspyware.com to get rid of it just based on recommendations that i had read. i ran the scan in that program and fixed the files. Then it said I needed to reboot for it to take effect. So I rebooted.

Now here's my problem:

It brings up the login box, i put the password in, click ok and it starts loading my settings and then immediately logs off. The same happens in safe mode as well. I'm looking for my windows disc (with no luck thus far).

Can any of you guys offer me any advice?? I'm a musicians and I have tons of home demos on my harddrive that I was stupid enough not to backup and i CAN'T lose them!!

Thanks a ton!!!
