So I had one of my family member download this file and had the same blue screen with a spyware warning box in the middle. I did not have Norton or any type of virus remover program before this event. WHen I discovered that it was infected , I deleted the exe file and I installed the temporary norton antivirus program. Norton removed a few files and I just ended up with a blue screen wallpaper( without the warning box), but I still feel that it is infected. On the start up it attempts to install a file and it says that it has already been installed and it says aborting, I just click on the abort button. And there is an error that occurs, and I just click the ok button and it goes away it think with win32. The Big problem that resulted from this malware is that my computer switches to a blue screen command type format and says a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent further damage and it says other other stuff below it about drivers and hardware on my computer It also points out the driver or the thing that is making the error, it has a long location, I could get it if necessary.It also says that it may be the recent hardware installed so for safety the computer restarts itself. The blue screen command type thing happens when the computer is idle for a few minutes, instead of the screen saver coming on, it switches to that. I have tried reading the other posts similar to mine the only thing is I don't want to make the situation harder than it already is. Thanks and I am desperately seeking help.
