Hi there :)

Download avz4.zip from here
  • Unzip it to your desktop to a folder named avz4
  • Double click on AVZ.exe to run it.
  • Run an update by clicking the Auto Update button on the Right of the Log window:Posted Image
  • Click Start to begin the update
Note: If you recieve an error message, chose a different source, then click Start again
  • After the update, from the "File" menu, choose "Standard Scripts"
  • Put a check next to item 2: Advanced System Investigation
  • Click Execute selected scripts
  • At the next prompt, click the OK button
  • Let the scan run and click "OK" when the completion prompt pops up
  • Now Close out of the Standard Scripts window, and exit AVZ
  • Navigate to the avz4 folder and locate the folder LOG
  • Inside the LOG folder you will find virusinfo_syscheck.htm and virusinfo_syscheck.zip
  • Attach virusinfo_syscheck.htm to your next reply, along with a fresh HijackThis log

Hi there :)

You have both Norton Antivirus and McAfee Installed, you need to uninstall one of them as having them both only slows down your PC - it does nothing to help your protection.
If you want to remove Symantec/Norton please run this removal tool after uninstalling through add or remove programs. http://service1.syma...005033108162039

And this one if you choose to remove McAfee http://www.softpedia...oval-Tool.shtml
  • Double click on AVZ.exe
  • Click on File, then Custom Scripts
  • Copy & paste the contents of the following codebox in the box in the program (start with begin and end with end )
    begin
     SetAVZGuardStatus(True);
     ClearQuarantine;
     SearchRootkit(true, true);
     QuarantineFile('C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\Winmt52.sys','');
     QuarantineFile('C:\WINDOWS\system32\Drivers\Winfx58.sys','');
     DelBHO('{3e6285c2-ede2-46eb-b745-c095f8454761}');
     DelBHO('{2587F5F9-BCDF-4076-98EF-AFC65C5BD816}');
     DelBHO('{0975D65C-2F0C-4C44-93F6-B32164C6DAEB}');
     DeleteService('Winmt52');
     DeleteFile('C:\WINDOWS\system32\byXRKCur.dll');
     DeleteFile('C:\WINDOWS\system32\hfeusk.dll');
     DeleteFile('C:\WINDOWS\system32\swvbdz.dll');
     DeleteFile('C:\WINDOWS\system32\WinCtrl32.dll');
     DeleteFile('C:\WINDOWS\system32\yayyXRig.dll');
     DeleteFile('C:\WINDOWS\system32\ydtitkbt.dll');
     DeleteFile('C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\Winmt52.sys');
     DeleteFile('C:\WINDOWS\system32\hsixesdo.dll');
     DeleteFile('C:\WINDOWS\system32\Drivers\Winfx58.sys');
     DeleteFile('WinCtrl32.dll');
     DeleteFile('byXRKCur.dll');
     DeleteFile('mtybmb.dll');
     DeleteFile('smart.dll');
     DeleteFile('vjvnmp.dll');
     DeleteFile('D:\autorun.inf');
    BC_ImportDeletedList;
    ExecuteSysClean;
    BC_Activate;
    RebootWindows(true);
    end.
  • Note: When you run the script, your PC will be restarted
  • Click Run
  • Restart your PC if it doesn't do it automatically.

Then,

Please open AVZ.

Go to File, then quarantine viewer.

Select both files in quarantine then press the big "Archive" button, save the zip file to a place you will remember.

Please go to Uploadmalware to upload a suspicious file for analysis.
  • Enter your username from this forum
  • Copy and paste the link to this thread
  • Browse for ZIP file I asked you to create previously and upload it.
  • In the comments, please mention that I asked you to upload this file
  • Click on Send File

Please re-run AVZ and get me a new log afterwards along with a new Hijack This log please.

K, I followed the instructions and my PC was rebooted. But when I opened AVZ ---> Quarantine folder viewer, there's only one folder named '2008-08-13' but strange thing was it's empty so there are no files to select from. I tried following the directions again incase I missed something but still no luck =(
