I've got a Dell Dimension 3000 desktop that had a virus which I have fixed. The display background is white, so I went to display properties in control panel and under desktop background, "none" is selected and is not changeable..There are several non-selectabe choices below, but not the usual named themes..they look like this "061105103614" I even selected a color and hit apply, but it doesn't change anything. When I reboot, I get this error message: "error loading C:\windows\system32\yemxpncd.dll. The specified module could not be found" Would this have anything to do with the problem?
