Antivirus XP 2008 [RESOLVED]

My PC got infected with this on Wed. Aug 6 11:30AM. I looked online about this virus, and learned you can remove certain registries, files in C:/WINDOWS and C:/WINDOWS/system32. I've removed 4 files from /system32 that were obviously related to this malware. They were long strings of jibberish, one was a .exe, a screensaver, a bitmap file and 1 other file I couldn't identify.

After running MalwareBytes, SpySweeper, SpyBlaster, HijackThis, CCleaner, Registry Cleaner, Ad-Aware, Avast!, and geekstogo.com 5 Steps (ATF Cleaner, Windows Updates, uninstalling programs I don't use anymore, removing all antivirus programs save for 1, in my case I kept MalwareBytes, AVG AntiSpyware and SpyBlaster because I just paid $30 for it to remove Antivirus XP yet unfortunately it could not remove it as far as I know).


I've seen "KernelFaultCheck" (dumprep 0 -k) in my boot up programs, I've heard somewhere that this gives you a blue screen after a recent program failed... could I just be receiving this KernelFaultCheck because of this recent malware, or do you think this is just the bad screensaver that has yet to be removed from my PC?

Update: I've decided to re-format my hard drive and do a fresh install of Vista. Hopefully I never have to deal with this problem again.
