This is really a users preference, I have Nortons Internet Security on my sons computer and the boot up time on that computer is slow as well, Like anything you have some people that swear by Nortons and others don't. I guess yopu could say that about almost anything

Looks good!!
Lets just some minor clean up,

Go to Start->Run and type in regedit and hit OK. Go to Registry (make sure my computer is highlighted)->Export and save the registry somewhere on your desk top as a backup. While in the Registry Editor, navigate to:

Delete if found. If any of the above registry keys are giving you problems deleting, right click on them and click on Permissions. Then click on the Advanced button. Make sure the first box (Inherit from parent...) is checked. Click OK and OK. Then try deleting the entry again. Once you're done, close the Registry Editor.

Reboot and post back a fresh findit's log please,

I hate to be the biggest THORN on your and my side, but windows still stalls 2 minutes just before the "Click a username to begin" blue screen. Could it be something othr than windows? I mean, the HD looks busy when the black-scrolling loading-bar screen is loading; however, right after that, the screen turns black for 2 minutes ( the HD looks iddle), and then the "Click a username to begin" blue screen loads up.
