It seems that I may have a conflict going on with the software that I have installed as my system is slowing down. Unfortunately, I have had my share of problems from my daughter downloading files/music and infecting the system. That problem has been resolved. I may have gone overboard with my protection. Here is a list of what I have installed. Could you comment on whether there may be a conflict?

Comodo Firewall Pro
Comodo BoClean
Avast
Spysweeper (msn version without Ask)
SuperAntiSpyware (run once a week or so)
Spywareblaster
SnoopFree

either spysweeper or Super needs to go. You only need one of them.
Uninstall snoofree. Agains its duplicating tasks performed by other software.

That should take care of it.
