Most likely causes:

Hi Hajinu

welcome to geekstogo :)

sorry to keep you waiting.

i have a feeling this could be very simple or very tough.

before we start, we need to get an antivirus program on your machine. i dont see any indication of one, i can see you have an anti-spywre program, but no antivirus program. therefore, i suggest you download, install, update and run the free AVG anti-virus program here: http://free.avg.com/ (the free version is the one on the left). if you have an antivirus program on your machine, let me know and go onto the instructions below.

once you have done that then:

Download OTViewIt to your desktop.

  • Close all windows and open it by double clicking on the icon
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up called OTViewIt.txt, the other will be saved on your desktop and called Extras. Post both those logs here.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all on the forum
and could i see a new hijackthis log.

Thank you for responding.
I ended up unplugging my router and cable modem and then plugging them back in and everything seems to work for now.

Thank you again for the response
