Cant figure out my internet

My parents have a windows XP and usually the internet works but today its not working at all and I tried to restart the cable thing and it didn't work, it shows that the internet is connected but it comes up as an error screen when I click on firefox

and on a side note I have a Macintosh laptop and we have a router but every morning I have to get on our house computer and reapply it for my computer to work. Now neither wont work and I don't know what to do.
I am pretty sure I did not give you enough information but I am so frustrated and I do not know what to do.
