I have been trying to clean up my machine to make it run better and have found this website helpful (http://www.theelderg...vices_guide.htm) to explain what is needed and the right settings for my PC. Mostly because my ZoneAlarm Security Suite program keeps asking me about allowing or denying 'svchost.exe' and also why there are so many of them in my Task manager. So I did some searching and found the website above. Ok, back to my question - I have some stuff set to Automatic and are showing as Started but I don't know if I need them - one in particular is Ipswitch WS_FTP Queue. I've looked all over the net to find out JUST what this does. I know it's part of my WS-FTP program, but what does the Queue do and why is it always running even if I have WS-FTP not open? Will disabling do anything I don't want? All I use WS FTP is for uploading and downloading files to my host server. So what is the Queue for and why is it ALWAYS running?

Thanx for any info!!
