Okay, time to laugh at me. Here's my scenario and I need help.

I'm with a group and they made a website and the guy who made it quit. I've offered to make a new website. I made it, put it all in a folder, have it all working.

My problems:

How/where do I upload my site? It is made in Dreamweaver. I think I could even make my own server to host it too if that would be easier...I just need help.

I'm good with computers but when it comes to this I have pretty much no idea what I'm doing. So any help would be great.

Are you planning on keeping the old hosting account and domain name? If so, you need to get the UserName, Password, ftp address ansd everything about your account if you do not have it already. Once you have this info, you can use FTP to upload and overwrite all files although, if you plan to start from scratch, I would delete all folders/files from the site before uploading new site. If the site is using original domain name, you only need to maintain the site and renew the hosting fee.

You have to have the info Ron mentioned to upload files to a host. Do you have a hosting account set up for the domain name?
