Re-registering the shmedia.dll (regsvr32 shmedia.dll) will most likely put you back to where you were. You can try it...if it reverts to it's old ways, you can always unregister the file again (regsvr32 /u shmedia.dll).

About the only way to find which file is the problem file is to move the media files, a group at a time, out of the folder that's not opening and see how the folder opens afterward. When the folder opens correctly, the bad file will be in the last group of files you moved. It will have to be found by process of elimination.

I'd start with any video files you have...large files are the most likely suspects.
