Hi,

I keep getting the error "Could not access network location C:/Program Files\" when I try to update iTunes or AIM and basically I can download programs but I can't install them. I followed these instructions- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/886549 but in the registry the first one of the list was (Default) with a differet type and no value set. Everything else looked fine. I tried to delete the default one but it said it couldn't.
I attached a screen shot of the error message and registry editor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Edit: I downloaded and installed Spybot and got rid of some viruses but after when I tried to download AIM it still gave me problems. It gets all the way to the end and when I click launch it doesn't. Then I tried updating iTunes. It still can't install. It just gives me the same error message.
