wireless connected but no internet

My laptop says its connected but the browsers cant open any pages and msn also won't connect, the signal says excelent and the bars are all green. The internet was working fine after I installed updates yesterday and it was ok today too until I restarted the computer because photoshop wasn't running properly, once it restarted the internet would not work, azureus was running before i restarted so i tried opening it after and it was working fine but the internet still wasn't working, how could azureus be working when nothing else is. Someone please help me
