Cant Burn

I have a xp pro. When i burn something to a CD-RW High Speed it burns but stops im middle and says burn sussesful but it didnt put anything on the cd. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!

Howdy:

What program are you using to burn with??

Also, are you finalizing the session or the cd after?? You have to in order to read what was burned!!

the one that came on my comp when i bought it form dell its call Record Now form Sonic.

I am not the least bit familiar with that program.. However, that being said, when you go to burn a cd, check to see if there is an option to "Finalize the seesion" or "Finalize the cd".. Make sure one of them is enabled..

Also, what brand of cd-r/rw's are you using??

Suggest you use the programs HELP index and read up on what to do to burn and finalize a disk..

If it is an rw disk, then you can..

Also, try burning at the slowest speed and see what happens!!!!
