I have contacted a friend, and he gave me a fix to download. It worked. But whenever I re-boot or turn of the computer, the drive disappears again. I went to MS support and I found a step-by-step on manually fixing it in the regedit. When it told me to open the upper filters, there were no upper filters to open. I give up.

Can you guys help?

Thanks,

Jester

Delete the UpperFilters key if it exists and the LowerFilters key if it exists. If they doin't exist there's nothing to delete. Restart, CD units should be back.
