I am trying to install a driver for an older game controller. It's unavailable on the web but I am advised to install the generic 6 button driver in XP. The device is an Interact V3 steering wheel with pedals. It is recognized by my machine by operates as a joystick and presents the joystick cailbration setup.

When I try to install the generic driver, I get a message saying "Your Gameport or Gameport drivers are not properly configured. Please consult the device manager. I don't know how to proceed from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!
