I swear I'm cursed and Dell sent me a lemon machine. I have had nothing but problems from the get go. I recently had to do a whole new install of the operating system, it was working for a short time and now it's freezing up on me. I'm guessing, but someone can confirm for me but I think it's related to internet explorer or that I recently installed a music player. I open up IE, bring up a site and it will freeze, no mouse, no crtl+alt+delete, only option is a power off/on. I have noticed it only happens on my user account (administrator) and not another user account.

Question is, if I uninstall the music player will the problem go away or would the damage already be done to system files (ie. .dll's, etc) ?

Any wisdom or assistance is much appreciated.

Hello chickneedshelp...

If you can, run a system restore to a date before you installed the music player. That's a little better way to get to an earlier system state...uninstalling can get a bit messy in some cases.
