Hey Geeks to Go <3

Uh, I was stupidly carrying my laptop upstairs with the battery pack resting on the keyboard and it must have pressed some keys.
When I got upstairs EVERYTHING was super sized (that means not just font but icons, start bar, internet explorer, images... everything)
So I started randomly pressing keys (because I'm stupid) and it managed to fix the larger things but INSTEAD make everything super small!

How do I fix this? Please help!
(Ps, it's not meerly the font or icon size!)

I use Windows XP on a Toshiba laptop model: Satelite Pro or something

Uhhh. Here is what it used to look like and what it looks like now:

NOW:

Please help!

(Oh, and today I backed up all my files. I don't know if that has anything to do with it as this trouble was caused by pressing silly keys!)

Hello mirwitch...

Right click on the desktop and choose "Properties". In the Display Properties window, click on the "Settings" tab.

What is the Screen Resolution set to?

Click one time to the left of the slider's pointer and Apply the change...if that changes the display to where you had it before, click on "Yes" in the confirmation dialog window. If it's still too small, click the No button, return to the display properties, and click to the left of the pointer twice...Apply the change.

Usually, the display will be set to 1280 X 768. You may have had yours set a little lower. One click to the left should put you to 1280 X 768.

Let me know if this helps........

I did that, and everything seems to be back to the right size.
Although, everything is a lot 'fuzzy-er' and more undefined.
Also, the top of my Internet Explorer is still small like the it was before...

Sorry about this.
(Your help is a life saver, thank you)

Are all the windows title bars smaller than normal...or just Internet Explorer?

Back in the Display Properties window, is the Color Quality set to "Highest (32 bit)"?

It's set to 32' Highest - but don't worry about the fuzzy'ness.

All the top 'bars' are a lot smaller.
I don't think it's just the text.

Here is a shot of my microsoft word to give you an idea:

In the Display Properties window, click on the "Appearance" tab...then the "Advanced" button.

In the Advanced Settings window, in the "Item" drop down menu, select "Active Title Bar". What sizes are shown for the bar size and the Font size (menu below title bar)?

Direct copy:

Item: Active Title Bar ... Size: 25
Font: Trebuchet MS ... Size: 10

It gives me two font sizes.

Those are the correct default settings for the Title Bar.

If you'd like to make it a little larger, adjust the Title Bar size upward until the preview shows the size you want. Be sure to adjust the font size to match the Title Bar. Apply the change.
