I downloaded the free trial of AVG Internet Security from their official site:
http://www.grisoft.c....download-trial

When I install it, I get the following error:

Local machine: installation failed
Installation:
Error: Action failed for file avgwdsvc.exe: starting service....
Error 0x80070005

What to do? Please, help me!

Also, I used to have AVG before, but I uninstalled it to try some other antivirus softwares. Does it have anything to do with my problem?

Welcome to Geeks To Go!

Be sure that your Windows Installer is not disabled or turned off:

In Start>Run type gpedit.msc and click OK. The Group Policies window opens.
In both Computer Configuration and User Configuration go to Administrative Templates>Windows Components and find Windows Installer.
In both places, be sure that it is not disabled or turned off.
