Hey,

My dads Dell laptop has an annoying problem with the sound. Whenever you listen to music regardless of the source (cd,dvd,mp3,youtube..) it generates a scratchy/fuzzy sound every so often. It doesn't do it for long periods of time (few secs) then plays normally again, then it does it again. I've been reading online that this is been a major problem and want to know if there is a solution for it. The sound card is a Intel High definition Audio card, and has the driver updates. I even uninstalled it, then reinstalled it, but no luck. This is not a speaker problem, because it plays randomly, even on the lowest level of sound and bass. I have the all the sound enchancements down on it too. If you need more info, I will try to get it for you.

BTW, it is on the Vista OS. 32-bit.

Thanks,
Cory
