Having trouble trying to convert mkv files to a ps3 readable format

well just as the topic states. I'm trying to convert a series of videos -namely an anime series- into a readable format that is practical onto the ps3. I've tried extracting the media file and re-packaging it with just the english audio and the timecodes, but when i use mkv2vob, I receive a transcoding error. This is getting extremely frustrating. Well here is the media info of one of the files. If you know of any conversion tools that may help, please reply.
