Thanks Rick, I have taken your advice and have got a new 420 PSU and a pair of 512s on the way .The old 768 pc 2700 will go in the new build .I guess I will just leave the spare 256 2100 in a box safe ,in case I need it somtime as you said not to mix them right? Many Thanks...Richard

No don't mix them it would just be defeating the purpose of the faster ram and cpu and sometimes causes problems.
