All other sound on my computer works, but in either IE7, Firefox2 and Seamonkey, sound does not work. No errors appear and other media(pics, video, ect.) works, but no sound.

I've updated firefox (I'm keeping it in 2.X, I don't like 3.X much) shockwave and flash. Still no results. The options were defaulted to see if it was an option error, but there's no change. I have not messed with the registry or drivers. It just stopped working one day.

Any ideas?

Download no_sound_in_browsers.reg file to your desktop.
Double click on it, and allow registry merge.
Restart computer.

No effect.

I even tried using the "Import" option in regedit and manually typing the data in.

No effect on any result.

Download and install K-Lite Codec Pack from here. Install it.

Still no change, even after restarting.
Going to switch back to Storm codec instead of k-lite.

Any other ideas?

Look in options and see if all add-ons are enabled.
