I have a problem since I recently down loaded avast anti virus,malware bytes anti-malware, erunt,ntregopt, now I cant access my control panel, when I try am prompted that the sytem needs to shut down. please advise I need your help I already had have mcfee on the computer but I don't think it active because it keeps trying to get me to upgrade or buy new versions. so I really do'nt know. I have windows xp home and I don't have any cd's that came with windows xp or the computer(dell)

do I need both or all these programs. or which one do I need the most.

another question is automatic updates seams to download updates but when I try installing them it says wuault.exe has encountered a problem bla bla bla . please advise
