Hi all,

since i ran msconfig to try to disable my avg on startup (don't ask) i get these error messages on boot up

The procedure entry point apsGetinterfaceCount could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll

The procedure entry point apsInitialize could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll

I have run msconfig and all the boxes are checked in start up...

anybody got any ideas?????

Hi

If you've got D-link, then the problem is most likely a conflict between the drivers and XP Service Pack 3. I had the messages too. There was a mix up with the file names being the same, blah blah, anyway, I found this website provided a kind of 'pre-SP3' file to help the problem. After I did this I didn't get either of those messages anymore.
