Is it the cord that plugs into the charging unit and a/c outlet or is the cord hardwired into the charging unit?

I wasn't sure which website to buy it from. Some websites seemed to be fairly high on price.

Depending on the charger unit's power connector type, it may be hard to find a generic power cord alone. I would just check through all the local electronic stores that carry a good supply of cords only. Otherwise, you will have to buy the complete charger which includes the cord.
