Printer not printing clipart images

So my printer isn't printing clipart images (just basic shapes on Microsoft word or pdf images). It recently just started this. It prints out photographs and text with no trouble. Its just the created clipart that you make yourself on the computer, it won't print. Example: when I print handouts on powerpoint, it won't print the boxes around each slide and it won't print the lines that you take notes on. What is going on? :)
