Theflashdrive is not under warranty and that's an easy fix. Now, how do I get rid of the blue screen and clean it up?

I will get that info to you this afternoon. FYI I do have System Mechanic installed on the computer as well as Trend Micro. Could there be a conflict with these two programs as well? System Mechanic was the last install but I did not have problems with it until the thumb drive.

if you used System Mechanic to "fix your registry"...it may be the cause of your problems...
System Mechanic and trend micro will coexist peacefully....

Right click My Computer... and select Manage...
click the + beside Event Viewer... select System....
In the right-hand panel...scroll to the time of the blue screen.....
when you find a red error entry.... double-click it for details...
get a screenshot and post it back here
do you remember if your problems started right after installing SP3...

just load 1 screen shot...make sure your saving them as .jpg
.bmp files are over the max size allowed to upload...
find the most common error you keep getting or just the most recent...we don't need 80 error pic's
