Hi again Geeks 2 Go!

I need your help once again.

I just got a new Acer laptop notebook with preinstalled windows vista.

From the very first day several of the programmes (firefox, vuze, vlc mediaplayer, itunes and so on)
keeps freezing up and has to be terminated. Sometimes the whole computer locks up with a scrambled screen and has to be
force-turned off.

I really don't know what to do. After all it is a brand new computer. I've heard a lot of bad things about vista, I just can't
believe it would be that bad..

Please help,

S :)

Are you in a position to take it back to the store you bought it from? If so, take it back and have them look at it. It could be a matter of just updating drivers, but the "scrambled screen" on a freeze up sounds strange.
