I just finished building my first PC and I cannot load my OEM windows disk. I either get a trap General protection fault
or sysdd file missing and press any key to exit.

I have a sata hard drive running off a sata controller card. It sometimes starts the installation then stops and gives a

vgaoem error.

Any help with this. I re seated the ram and everything

Try to take the SATA card out and connect the hard disk to the correct SATA connection on the motherboard.
