I have two (dvd/cd rom) disc drives both clear the device manager as in proper working order. drive F works fine, Drive
E (came with the Dell ) will not acknowledge a disc is in the drive. (Keeps asking to insert a disc)
I have tried unistalling the driver and picking it up on (plug and play) reboot. I went to the registry and deleted the
high low filters (temp) I downloaded cdgone and merged to the registry. Nothing is working. This is not a critcal
problem but I want to know how to solve this problem, thanks to whomever.

Thanks Shard92
I solved the problem by changing some settings (still not sure how) but I will clean as well, I'm sure it needs it.
Thanx for your help
