A few years ago I created a CD of mp3 files over multiple sessions using Roxio. The files were organized into 7 folders. I recently went to play some of the tunes and discovered that when I clicked a file name in 3 of the folders a tune from a different folder would play(but not from the beginning).
I used ISOBUSTER to see if I could figure out what was going on. Session 1 contained 2 folders, and session2 contains those plus 4 new folders. Session3 contains all those same folders but the LBA range of folder3 was changed from the previous and now "overlays" the start of the LBA range of folder4. Session4 has all the previous folders and a new folder7 that has an LBA range that "overlays" the rest of the LBA range of folder4 plus the ranges of folder5 and folder6, as follows:
folder1 LBA 37 - 73917
folder2 LBA 75891 - 149436
folder3 LBA 171062 - 197508
folder4 LBA 192527 - 227452
folder5 LBA 229105 - 240775
folder6 LBA 242364 - 280033
folder7 LBA 207201 - 290184
Since this is a CD-R, the files from folders4, 5, and 6 must still be physically on the disk but their LBA's now point to other files. Anyone know how I can locate them? So far, my results using ISOBUSTER seem to show that it relies on the LBA.
Thanks,
