My PC is a Dell Dimension C521 running Vista Home Premium. When I attempt to load Windows recent update, Vista SP1, I get a message "Download successful", my programmes generally appear to function normally except that I cannot access any sounds. How can I adjust this?

Click the Download Now button on this page and follow the prompts to reinstall the audio driver. Reboot and see if your sound works. Please post back here with the results!

Thanks for your suggestion. It turned out that installing SP1, for no reason, altered my sound settings, so I didn't need to install new drivers.
