how can i set my sata disc with my pci sata card

the problem I have I buy a pci sata card and also a 80gb sata disc ok I connect that in to my computer and also my master hard disc is a Samsung but the sata hard disc it doesn't have a jumper to set it up when I turn on my computer I see the post and it recognize everything the only thing that not recognize is the sata no profile about it I set my bios everything and I don't get any answer of nothing could somebody please help me in this issue so I can use my sata disk.
