I have followd the guide instructions and am satisfied that Zlob and other malware has been removed but check dosc runs at start up (after closing down the pc normally). Could this be the result of malware? How do I turn it off? Windows xp home ed. Norton Internet Security installed.
I had a start up entry containing the text "VResLab" which I removed this has stopped the check disc running at start up but I am worried that it was a remnant of the malware or perhaps some kind of protection from it that I`ve stopped?
It no longer appears on the start up list
