I am using a Toshiba Laptop,Iam running windows xp. It has gotten to where it is very slow starting up, Just started doing it like a couple of weeks ago. Never had a problem with it before. My folders take forever to open, Internet explorer will not load at all. It freezes up as soon as I open it. I have installed Netscape navigator to get onto the internet. It is super slow opening also. I have scanned a couple of times and found nothing. Please help me I am tired of racking my brain trying to figure out what it is.

Hello jokernrose and welcome to Geeks To Go.

Your computer can become slow for many reasons, one of which can be malware so I would like you to get a quick check for malware over at our malware removal forum. I reccomend that you read the following topic here and then post your problem here.

Please post your problem there where our experts will be more than happy to assist you :) If your problem is still presant after the removal of any malware please return to this topic.

Regards
