Whenever I try to access any of my office programs or ANY program for that matter, the 'Windows Installer' pops up and says "Installing MS Office - checking current configuration" - and when it is complete, it gives me an access error in my .INK file.

Anyone know what is causing this? I went so far as to uninstall Office and it STILL pops up all the time!!!

URGH!!!

PLEASE HELP!!!

Ty,

Did you uninstall any other programs around the time that this started happening? Maybe a demo program that came pre-loaded on your computer?
