I just did a complete restore on my PC. The last time I did this,I found out my printer( HP psc 1310 series,1315v) did not work properly( HP director would not work ).So I downloaded a patch that fixed the problem. This time,I could not find my install cd for my HP drivers,so I had to download it from their site. This time the HP director icons did not appear on my desktop at all,so I figured it's IE7 causing the problem again,so I went and got the patch, but when I try to install the patch it says the drivers I have installed don't need the patch, and won't let me install it. I can't access anything about my printer, other than going into the printer properties in the control panel. I even tried reverting back to IE6,but don't see an option to remove it in the add/remove programs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated guys, thanks.

Problem solved!
