Hi,

I have a few Call of Duty 2 servers running from my house, with lots of mods and maps, but they only download at 4kb/s sometimes. I want to setup a redirect to a website so people can download from there.

I do not know where to store the IWD files so it will redirect properly. Can anyone recommend a website that will let me have a main folder with my server's files?

Thanks!

you will be unable to do a redirect until you patch the server. redirect was enabled with the first patch for cod 1. IN fact I would strongly recommend patching it to the latest version.

some settings to look at:

Try changing this settings.

/ Client Download Settings. (0=off/1=on) Used for MODs and custom maps
// See included Quick Setup Guide for instructions.
set sv_allowdownload "0"
seta sv_wwwDownload "1"
seta sv_wwwBaseURL "WHERE TO DOWNLOAD THE MAPS."
seta sv_wwwDlDisconnected "1"

next you could look here for more info: http://iwnation.com/...?showtopic=9720

all of the cod series pretty much works the same way on the server side with some slight allowances for different syntax.
